Hal Robertson is a mosaic artist who seriously started ‘mosaicing’ after she retired in 2022.  She is a member of the Port Community Arts Community (PCAC). Attending water colour classes at PCAC has added to her composition skills as a mosaic artist. 

Hal became more involved with the SA Branch of MAANZ (Mosaic Society of Australia and NZ) in 2025 and has found great support being part of this community.

Hal mainly works with wall tiles, mirror, crockery, glass tiles, pebbles, wire and other found bits and bobs, and uses 3mm cement sheeting as the substrate which is attached directly onto the Stobie pole.

To date her Stobie pole mosaics have been commissioned by the owners of nearby properties. Permission is required by SA Power Networks, nearby neighbours and the local council.
