Keyneton is a small town on the eastern edge of the beautiful Barossa Valley, well known for its history of farming and winemaking, as well as the magnificent red gums that dot the area. These attributes figure in the stobie pole pictures around the town, plus more! Supported by the Keyneton Community Association, the original idea was to simply to beautify the town, but it has grown to be very much appreciated by all who have seen them, whether via social media, or personal viewing; and adds colour, identity and pride to the community. Done by a small volunteer group, there is a diverse range of topics, with designs submitted by group members, school students and the community. This project began in September 2024. The project was initiated and is led by Coralie Gerhardy, whose serious commitment was awarded with the 2026 Mid Murray Council Active Citizenship Award.

Recognising the fabulous work of the local CFS.
"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
A fitting tribute to our armed forces, situated at the Keyneton Soldiers Memorial Hall. The concept was suggested by Helen Graetz, added to by William Smidmore, drawn up by Janet Pfeiffer
